Hydroseeding questions
Late summer into early fall is the best window, roughly mid-August through September. Soil is still warm, nights are cool and weeds are slowing down. Spring works too, once the ground has warmed.
Keep the surface damp for the first few weeks: usually light watering once or twice a day, then deeper and less often as the grass fills in. Mow when it reaches about 3 to 4 inches.
You will usually see sprouts in about one to two weeks, depending on temperature and watering. A full, mowable lawn takes several weeks.
